Ear thickness, histamine release, serum IgE, mast cell infiltration, and cytokines IL-4, Il-13, IL-31, and TNFa were increased after ear painting with DNCB. Administration of DA-9601 (Stillen), an extract of Artemesia asiatica reduced these responses.
