The epitope-specific mAb was shown to react with ricin holotoxin in Biacore analysis. An epitope-specific chimeric derivative of the mAb GD12 (cGD12), in which the murine heavy (VH) and light chain (VL) variable regions were fused to a human IgG1 framework, was also shown to react with ricin holotoxin in Biacore analysis (KD=78 nM).
