description:	The epitope was deduced using a random phage library to identify positive clones which were then sequenced and aligned with the crystal structure of PrM-Env to determine the participating residues. P3 was shown to inhibit the binding of the mAb to DENV2. Site-directed mutational analysis confirmed these residues as critical to binding.
