name:
Neutralization of macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) by fully human antibodies correlates with their specificity for the beta-sheet structure of MIF.
description:
The epitope sequence was deduced.
MIF-specific antibodies were selected from the Dyax FAB310 phage display library using full-length MIF or six overlapping MIF fragments. The positive binders were expressed as human IgG4 antibodies. The epitope recognized by the mAb was deduced based on its reactivity with six overlapping MIF fragments.
