name:
The epitope and neutralization mechanism of AVFluIgG01, a broad-reactive human monoclonal antibody against H5N1 influenza virus.
description:
The epitope-specific mAb bound to recombinant WT HA protein in ELISA, IFA, and FACS. The residues important for mAb binding were determined with HA mutants carrying single amino acid substitutions. Binding was abolished when reduced HA was assayed, indicating that the epitope is conformational.
