The inhibitory effect of the epitope-specific monoclonal antibody was assessed by FRETS-VWF73 assay. Standard plasma of healthy donors was used as source of the antigen ADAMTS13. The epitope-specific mAb was able to inhibit VWF cleavage by ADAMTS13. The epitope was deduced based on reactivity to overlapping phage displayed peptide fragments.
