The epitopic residues recognized by the antigenic Ac site-specific mAbs 1B.B5 (IgG2b), 6A.C3 (IgG1) and 1A.F10 (IgG1) were determined by sequence analysis of mAb resistant (mar) TGEV mutants selected with neutralizing mAbs. TGEV PUR46 virus Mar mutant with substitution G543D were no longer neutralized by the mAbs. All escape mutants selected by mAb 1B.B5 had an additional change at V631.
