description:	The epitope specific VHH KW1 recognizes Aß 1-40 oligomers and neutralizes their synaptotoxic effect, as determined by measuring long-term potentiation in hippocampal slices. KW1 also interfered with the formation of Aß fibrils, but does not disaggregate preformed Aß fibrils.
