The epitope-specific mAb was shown to detect the 51-hydroxy CTX3C molecule by competitive ELISA, from which the KD was calculated. With another mAb directed to the left wing of the molecule, 51-hydroxy CTX3C was detected in a sandwich ELISA assay at lower than 1 ng/mL in a specific manner.
