The antibody titers to the epitope were significantly higher in animals with CIA than in healthy animals at all time points. Antibody titers increased over time during CIA. The ELISA plates were coated with the epitope as triple helical peptides. There was an association of the response to the epitope during CIA with the Igh locus on chromosome 12.
