description:	The epitope sequence was found to be reactive with the mAb by immunopanning and subsequent competition ELISA with the isolated peptide or as a phage-displayed peptide, where it competed the mAb binding to solid-phase bound C. burnetii NMI Ag. Also direct ELISA reactivity with the isolated peptide and with the epitope conjugated with KLH was demonstrated.
