The epitope-specific mAbs 3G10, 3H10 and 7A9 bound to the extracellular region of DDR1 with an apparent dissociation constant of approximately 2 nM. Analysis of deletion constructs showed that the mAbs bound to the membrane-proximal DS-like domain (201-369), but not to the membrane-distal DS domain (31-185) containing the collagen binding site.
