The structure of a polyQ-anti-polyQ complex reveals binding according to a linear lattice model.
|
| description: |
The MW1 Fv-polyQ complex was generated by binding FV to SUMO-10Q, then removing the SUMO protein by protease cleavage, resulting in cocrystals containing the epitope, Gly-(Gln)10-Gly peptide. Two crystal structures with different space groups were solved. This structure was space group P21 and the other structure was P21212 [PDB: 2OTW]. There are four complexes in the asymmetric unit.
