The epitope-specific mAb bound the antigen in ELISA. Mutant rVSVDG/MARVGP that escapes from the epitope-specific mAb selective pressure were cloned. All the obtained MARV GP mutants showed a remarkable reduction in binding ability to the mAbs while there was no significant difference in overall expression levels between the mutant and parental GPs.
