The epitope -specific mAbs bound the antigen, as shown by a gel shift assay. MAbs 15D8, 9F11, 15B10 are IgG2b, 8D8 is IgG2a, and 11F8 is IgG3. Binding of dT21 by the IgG2b mAbs (e.g., 15D8) and by 11F8 does not appear to be affected by changes in ionic strength, whereas the other IgG2a mAbs (e.g., 4B2) show a small dependence in Kd upon varying [Na+].
