name:
A nanobody binding to non-amyloidogenic regions of the protein human lysozyme enhances partial unfolding but inhibits amyloid fibril formation.
description:
The binding of epitope-specific nanobody cAb-HuL5 to wild type human lysozyme was studied by H/D exchange experiments coupled with electrospray mass spectroscopy. Binding of cAb-HuL5 to the amyloidogenic lysozyme variants with substitution I56T or D67H did not affect unfolding in the variants.
