MER5101, a novel Abeta1-15:DT conjugate vaccine, generates a robust anti-Abeta antibody response and attenuates Abeta pathology and cognitive deficits in APPswe/PS1ΔE9 transgenic mice.
|
| description: |
The epitope-based MER5101 vaccine generates high anti-amyloid beta antibody levels in plasma from immunized mice mice. IgG1 anti-amyloid antibodies were predominant followed by IgG2b antibodies. Plasma anti-amyloid beta antibodies from vaccinated mice also bound amyloid monomers and oligomers in Western blot.
