name:
A common solution to group 2 influenza virus neutralization.
description:
The epitope specific CR8043 Fab bound to hemmagglutin from the influenza virus. Fab CR8043 bound with high affinity to group 2 H3 and H10 HA subtypes and accommodated about 50 years of antigenic drift from avian (1963) to human (1968-2011) H3N2 viruses. CR8043 bound with lower affinity to group 2 H4, H7, H15 and H15 subtypes. KD's were determined by bio-layer interferometry using an Octet RED intsrument, which is conceptually similar to surface plasmon resonance.
