Rats were injected with the epitope to induce Experimental autoimmune neuritis (EAN) in rats. Serum from EAN rats were positive for epitope-specific IgG1, IgG2a and IgG2b. EAN rats treated with Berberine (BBR) showed a significantly reduced epitope-specific IgG1 and IgG2a Ab response.
