name:
Sensitive and specific serodiagnosis of Leishmania infantum infection in dogs by using peptides selected from hypothetical proteins identified by an immunoproteomic approach.
description:
Sera from L. infantum-infected dogs tested positive for reactivity against the epitope. The specificity was determined to be >95% by analysis of sera of healthy dogs with no clinical signs of CVL and negative parasitological and serological results.
