The affinity of the B4.2.3 TCR for binding to immobilzed epitope/H-2Db complex was determined by surface plasmon resonance. In a separate study, the average of three experiments yielded steady state KD = 405 nM. Mutation N133A in the TCR ß chain did not significantly affect the affinity (KD = 465 nM).
